  1. No wonder I'm not receiving any notification from you… I forgot to hit "all" after subscribing

  2. Hey Gotham, some months ago I made an opening video on this opening, and there’s a small hiccup you missed. At 2:25, Nd4 for white is their best move, and if we capture, then Qh5+ and we’re lost. This is mostly irrelevant, but you didn’t mention this.

  3. I have played this gambit 27 times now and everytime they play horse to C3 on their 3rd move.

  4. Vienna for white, Vienna for black. Racism is solved

  5. Since this video was posted I've been practicing this gambit. I have yet to play a single game with it where white responds with advancing the d pawn once the gambit's in motion. And I'm only in the 1200s.

  6. If they don’t bring the bishop out and just play d3 first can we still play this f5 gambit?

  7. Thank you, i am always playing this since you showed us😍

  8. This is great. Just like the Vienna, we now have about 2 weeks to crush people with it before everyone sees this video.

  9. the problem is that everytime I try it, the opponent isnt stupid and realises it, and then ive always put myself in a risky position. essentially, its just a move, but doesnt mean you will win

  10. This is one of my favorite openings against 1e4! I win most of my games against lower and higher rated players. There is a phenomenal line that ends the game quickly with this if they move queen to D2 to pin the pawn. You're spot on – first is black queen to e2 blocking the pin, wht knight goes back to g1, then black moves knight to f3 to protect the check….then if they try to attack the pawn on e4 by going pawn to d3, move the other knight to D5 attacking the queen, queen will move back to d8 and you just sac the knight and take the pawn on f7, if they take it with the queen, they lose the queen and the game in 2. 🙂 Great vid! Thx for covering this opening – you showed me a cool variation I never saw (pawn to b5). Going to give it a go next time I can.

  11. shit. i was playing this so many times and now it will be so much harder. thanks Levy:/

  12. My friend stockfish said you should play Nd4 for white instead of going back

  13. one line that wasn't covered is that when they go Nd4 and you take it the queen can come immediately to check you and it's better for white

  14. I don't understand why you are giving away new gambit lessons that aren't in the course that I paid for? This isn't in Gambits for black nor is the Evans in gambits for white.

  15. What happens if white plays knight f3xe5?

  16. Stop this. You are giving away my secret weapons.

  17. 😮😮😮😮😩😩😩Gothamm more like GODammmm

  18. Fifty years ago I earned a USCF rating of 1650, but haven't played tournament chess since. I really enjoy your videos and your humor. Learned a lot from you and scraped off some rust. THANX👍

  19. This is crazy. The first game I played after studying this opening, I got to use it and won.

  20. does this opening still work if they (your opponent) develops knight instead of bishop?

  21. Actually book says to play d4 after black plays the f5 gambit. Your opponent plays d3 and you even mention d3 but book says d4.

  22. "Triple pawns, which is very funny" 🤣🤣🤣

  23. Love to play this gambit as black. A lot of people just aren't familiar with how to defend against this and it works out well in rapid/blitz games.

  24. ♟ ♟ ♟ ♟ ♟ ♟ ♟ ♟
    ♜♞♝ 👑 👑 ♝♞♜

  25. I'm glad I don't need to follow this advice any more, after a couple of good wins I am now rated 9,287 – I play a lot of the London system as white, and as Black I play the Einstein-Rosen defence that actually allows me to move my rooks (and sometimes a bishop) to the 0th or even the -1st rank behind white's pieces, it involves folding space and time, but once you've practiced it a few times, it is easy.

  26. Bro I was just down 21 and I started rushing my king forward… game ended in a draw. 😂

  27. aight im 2 hours before the tournament, lets see if it makes me win at least once lmao

  28. 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 f5 4. exf5 e4 5. Nd4 Nxd4 6. Qh5+
    Can u plz explain this

  29. Why didnt he play queen e1 in 20:05 I think that is checkmate in two

  30. THIS is the reason why EVERYTIME I TRY TO GET EXPERIENCE WITH THE ITALIAN, people PLAY THIS??? Thank you levy.

  31. Just Chess in London Ontario, 🇨🇦 says:

Well I really tried….it’s very dubious. Literally many pitfalls for both sides. Here is one of my failures. It was a fun game though. I didn’t see this variation…. https://youtu.be/rqzOD_UtkU4

  32. I wish that Levy would have gone more in depth on using this against the Ruy Lopez since that is not only the better opening for White (according to Stockfish) but also more common for White. I feel that not being able to fork White's pawn and knight via d5 meaningfully alters the approach Black should take.

  33. 300 elo me absolutely demolishing my enemies after watching this.
