  1. I am using this in bullet even in 3mins blitz

  2. it might be a good choice to surprise
an opponent, but without any theory i
    can't find one principled reason
    to use it.

  3. More of this novel system, or more about novel systems in general?! Perhaps I might do a video on the Tango if this overview of this odd system was interesting, and there is some fascination or interest in off-beat systems. The Tango is:-

    1.d4 Nf6
    2.c4 Nc6 ?!

  4. Interesting how this incarnation of the defense did not go into your recommended King's Indian direction. Why do you think it is that people are so enamored of blitz-play? I myself do not care for it. I like to give careful consideration to my moves. It seems like a sloppy execution of the game — I get the whole bit about testing one's "intuitive sense of the position", but like you said in the earlier video, it is only in regular over-the-board play that the soundness of systems can really be tested. I like your remarks at the end of how regular Joe's can now play like magicians with the help of computers and such . . . thus one is on the lookout for "surprises" early in the game and thus the traditional systems begin to go by the wayside. In another game you said something along the same lines: you were commenting on a Tal game from the 50s and marveling at what gun-slingers they were, experimenting quite boldly with very fierce lines. You contrasted that with what you called "the professionalism' of modern high-level play that has resulted in a much more subdued type of over-the-board play. The point being . . . I LOVE when you digress into the way technology and "professionalism" have altered modalities of play and provide something of a comparative historical dimension to your otherwise already wonderful commentaries. (My only request: could you slow down just a bit for us wood-pushers.)

  5. I just played this game.
    1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 c6 3.Nxe5 d6 4.Nf3 d5 5.Nc3 c5 6.exd5 Nf6 7.Bc4 Ng4 8.Ne4 Qd7 9.d3 Ne5 10.Nxe5 Qd8 11.Qf3 Be6 12.dxe6 fxe6 13.Qf7#

Its called "King's Pawn Opening: King's Knight, Gunderam Gambit" by chess.com.

I was kinda surprised by the move 2 … c6 so i chose to play Nxe5.

What do you think about this game? The way I see it black played pretty badly?
